Hashem Arouzi – (Trustee)

Hashem Arouzi is a British citizen and was born in 1971. He is a founding partner of Gottex Fund Management. He began his career at Kleinwort Benson Investment Management, where he was a portfolio manager. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Iran Heritage Foundation. Mr Arouzi attended Charterhouse School and received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of Virginia.

Roshanak Khalili-Dwyer (Chair of the Board of Trustees)

Roshanak began her professional career with Bankers Trust Company in New York and London. She has a BA in East Asian Studies and Political Science from Connecticut College, holds a masters degree in International Relations from Columbia University and an MSc from the London Business School Sloan Fellowship Programme. She sits on the board of Institute for Family Business (IFB) with UCG Foundation. She is a member of the London Business School Global Advisory Council, and is a member of the board of directors of the Iran Heritage Foundation.

Ardavan Farmanfarmaian (CEO)

Mr A Farmanfarmaian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Brandeis University), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (Babson College), a Post-Graduate diploma in Law (University of Westminster) and a Master’s degree in Law (University College London). He has extensive experience as a trader in the French stock market, principally in financial Futures and Options, and ten years’ experience with a firm of accountants and international tax advisors based in London. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, is fluent in four languages and his extensive contacts have been of tremendous benefit to various non-profit organisations. His main focus currently is property investment in the UK. He acts as a founding trustee of the Snowflake School for Children with Autism (London) and sits on the Board of the British Iranian Business and Professional Society (London).

Mahnaz Kamel – (Co-CEO)

Mrs Mahnaz Kamel began her business  career as the Director of Administration at a prominent global Shipping company that operated a midsized fleet of vessels throughout Western Europe and the Middle East . She later took on the role of Executive Director of a Turkish shipping company  that specialises in the  bespoke shipping requirement of global multinationals .  In 2001/2002, Mrs Kamel became Secretary of the board of the British Iranian Business and Professional Society (Anjoman), where she maintained her active involvement and occupied different positions  Since 2010, Mrs Kamel has held the office of Vice Chairperson of Anjoman. In 2005, she became, and continues to be, a founding trustee of the Snowflake School for Children with Autism in London and helped raise considerable funds for the School. In 2009, she helped organise fundraising events for the Iranian Business School project, and later became a founder member. In 2013, Mrs Kamel was asked to join the Executive Board of IBS. She also currently sits on the Board of the British Iranian Chamber of Commerce and in 2010 Mrs Kamel received an honorary degree of Master of Business Administration from the International American University in California.

Eddie Kerman – (Trustee)

Eddie Kerman is a qualified solicitor with extensive knowledge in the field of corporate finance & commercial contract work. He currently works with Pelican Partners, a UK-based family office. He was a board member and remains an adviser for Turquoise Partners, a leading Iran-focused investment firm. He currently is a director at Levanta Partners, which invests in Iraq. He has a International Relations from Brown University.
